Benjamin

Named after Daniel Pennac's Benjamin Malaussène. It's a second floor double bedroom, located in a quite secluded part of the main house. Its wooden and wrought iron pieces of furniture are antique, and belong to our family's tradition. The floor is made of handmade terracotta bricks, as well as the wooden beam ceiling. The bathroom has a handmade terracotta brick cladding, and is equipped with design fittings. Curtains are made of natural fibre by a traditional textile factory. The window overlooks the garden and the olive grove that surround the main building. It also offers a breathtaking view of the valley and the historic borgo (hamlet) of Portaria, perching on the mountainside. Benjamin has its own heating system. |
